If you, or someone you love, is contemplating remaining in your home as you age, then you have come to the right place! The information that I want to share with you will provide you with the know-how to make your home both safe and accessible to you as you “age in place” and to do it with grace.
From our beginning in 2006 our focus has always been to provide assistance and solutions to seniors, baby boomers and others who wanted to downsize from a larger residence to a smaller one. We help sort and eliminate clutter, pack and provide assistance in moving and unpacking when relocating a client. Along the way, I received many requests for tips and tricks on how to age in place, which was a natural progression of our services. I am a Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS) and the only chiropractor to hold this designation. I have the ability to provide you the knowledge and the expertise a safe and secure place for your senior years.
As you read through this site, I want you to understand several things:
• Aging in place literally means remaining in your residence as you become older.
• Aging in place can also include retrofitting an existing or new home, as well as specific new construction design.
• Aging in place also involves planning for health care needs, transportation issues, staying active and living a life with purpose.
This site will provide you with this information, and so much more.
My wish for you is that through the knowledge, information and resources provided here, you will be able to live in the home of your choice and age in place with grace!
